How to Use MMS MilkOil™ Indoor/Hemp Seed Oil
Surface must be clean and dry. Test on an inconspicuous spot before using on an entire piece.
Apply liberally to the surface using a clean, lint-free cloth or brush. Rub gently until it is absorbed into raw wood or milk-painted finish. Buff off excess. For additional sheen and protection, add 2-6 coats. With no solvents, drying time is extended, so allow 2 hours between coats and wipe away excess after 12 hours. Dries in 24 hours. The finished piece may take several days to cure (approx. 30 days). To maintain, apply a light coat every other year as needed. To remove scratches, lightly sand blemish, then reapply oil. Soap and water clean-up.
Hemp Seed Oil Tips
- Hemp seed oil takes approximately 30 days to fully cure. The piece may be gently used during this period, but the surface may feel oily and leave a residue on other items that come into contact with it during this period.
- Apply only what the surface will absorb and wipe away excess oil to avoid a sticky or tacky surface.
- Hemp seed oil may be used on raw or milk-painted wood floors but is not recommended for moisture-prone areas like kitchens and baths.
- Can be used indoors and outdoor.
