Lucketts Green is named for the color on the shingles of The Old Lucketts Store in Lucketts, Virginia. When I first started using MMSMP I couldn’t get enough of this gorgeous green. It reminded me of many of the greens that I loved in the vintage Bark Cloth fabrics I collect. Each time we paint a dresser in Lucketts Green it is the first to sell at fairs and in the shop. Itis a soft spring green with yellow undertones.A sample of Milk Paint will cover approx. 10 square feet, a quart will cover approx. One quart of milk paint covers approximately 70 sq. feet. Simply mix this powder with water- it’s that easy! A Milk Paint finish is unique and can range from a solid color to a stain, it all depends on how much water you add! It can be used on any porous surface without a primer. It will never chip or peel on porous surfaces as it soaks in and binds with the substrate. If your item your painting is not porous you will need bonding agent to not have chips or cracks. However, that's why we use it! We are in love with the chippy vintage look!
