Artissimo
Artissimo is our navy or midnight blue. It is named for the blue and white fabric Marian used in her master suite. Depending on the finish [top-coat] it can look like a brighter royal blue or almost black. We used artissimo when we made an American Flag out of pallets. A sample of Milk Paint will cover approx. 10 square feet, a quart will cover approx. One quart of milk paint covers approximately 70 sq. feet. Simply mix this powder with water- it’s that easy! A Milk Paint finish is unique and can range from a solid color to a stain, it all depends on how much water you add! It can be used on any porous surface without a primer. It will never chip or peel on porous surfaces as it soaks in and binds with the substrate. If your painting item is not porous, you will need a bonding agent to not have chips or cracks. However, that's why we use it! We are in love with the chippy vintage look!
