Outback Petticoat
Outback Petticoat, is rich, earthy, and full of fire. “It is a gorgeous shade of orange, that is warm, classic, and bold. The color was given the name Outback Petticoat by a group of Australian MMSMP retailers. The Outback has orange soil and it used to stain the hems of the white petticoats of early pioneer and settler women. The name immediately struck a chord with Marian [Miss Mustard Seed]
A sample of Milk Paint will cover approx. 10 square feet, a quart will cover approx. One quart of milk paint covers approximately 70 sq. feet. Simply mix this powder with water- it’s that easy! A Milk Paint finish is unique and can range from a solid color to a stain, it all depends on how much water you add! It can be used on any porous surface without a primer. It will never chip or peel on porous surfaces as it soaks in and binds with the substrate. If your painting item is not porous, you will need a bonding agent to not have chips or cracks. However, that's why we use it! We are in love with the chippy vintage look!
